Peter Davekos

Peter Davekos is a flight paramedic, emergency services professional, and Co-Founder of Waveform Safety Solutions. With experience spanning the public sector, private industry, and non-governmental organizations, he specializes in helping organizations strengthen preparedness, enhance operational resilience, and navigate the complex intersection of event operations, public safety, emergency medical services, and emergency management.

Throughout his career, Peter has supported major venues, music festivals, endurance events, and large-scale public gatherings, including events with attendance exceeding 300,000 participants. His experience also includes supporting local, state, and national responses to significant emergency incidents, providing firsthand insight into incident management, multi-agency coordination, resource allocation, and operational decision-making in complex and rapidly evolving environments.

Driven by a commitment to continuous learning and professional development, Peter has traveled extensively throughout the United States studying best practices in event safety, mass gathering management, emergency preparedness, and public safety integration. Through years of collaboration across the emergency services and event industries, he has developed strong relationships with local, state, federal, and private-sector partners, allowing him to connect clients with valuable resources, expertise, and stakeholder networks that support successful outcomes.

Peter has completed advanced training in sports and special event management through the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), complementing his operational experience with specialized education in event safety, risk management, and integrated public safety operations

At Waveform Safety Solutions, Peter works with event organizers, venues, public safety agencies, and community stakeholders to develop practical, scalable solutions that mitigate risk, improve coordination, and support safe and successful operations.

Joseph lester

Joe brings nearly a decade of frontline emergency response and program leadership to event safety and emergency management. A Nationally Registered Paramedic with a B.S. in Paramedicine and an M.S. in Emergency Management from the University of New Haven, he has worked across a broad spectrum of public safety and healthcare environments including high-volume urban 911 systems, hospital-based critical care transport, and volunteer agencies, which have given him a practical command of how to insure operations succeed despite real world challenges.

His expertise spans incident command, mass casualty planning, and multi-agency coordination grounded in NIMS/ICS standards. He has modernized Mass Casualty Incident protocols, built quality assurance programs, and originated a regional Stop the Bleed program that has trained thousands of students and staff.

He is also a committed advocate for technology that improves response and mitigation—leading the transition of event operations from paper-based records and analog radio to a fully digital common operating picture using open-source situational awareness platforms such as the Team Awareness Kit (TAK) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

At Waveform Safety Solutions, Joseph applies this combination of field experience, formal emergency management training, and technical fluency to help festivals, live events, athletic events, and municipalities plan for the unexpected.
